"Nelly's Bodega" is a short filmed directed by Omonike Akinyemi that delves into the life of a 13 year old Catholic student and her friendship with the young Latina woman, Nelly, who runs a local bodega. When Fatima realizes Nelly is suffering in violence, she and her friends decide to help her break out.
