Set in the Caribbean in the 18th and 19th centuries, both films deal with characers in search of freedom from social restraints and how one's culture and heritage can help one find balance.
The films are highly movement based, involving choreography which uses fighting dances from the Caribbean and South America, Stage Combat, African-Caribbean dance, and flamenco.
Auditionees will be asked to move in varying styles and speak only when necessary to advance ideas that can not be communicated in the scene through movement.
Filming locations for this March are Orlando, FL and Albany, NY. Performers may be needed for one locaion or both depending on role they are selected for.
